How to use

Take the liquid by mouth.

Adults, the elderly: Take one 5ml spoonful 3 times a day.

Children over 12 years: Take one 5ml spoonful morning and evening.

Do not give to children under 12 years old unless your doctor tells you to.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using if your are pregnant, might be pregnant or are breastfeeding. This medicine should not be used unless your doctor has told you to do so.

Possible side effects

There are no known side effects from using this medicine when used as directed. If you notice and side effects, stop use and tell your doctor or pharmacist. They will tell you what to do.

If you accidently take too much see a doctor straight away. Take the pack with you to show which medicine you have swallowed.

Do not use after the expiry date

Return any unused medicine to the pharmacy for disposal

Do not store above 25°C. Use within 28 days of opening

Ingredients

ethanol, methyl parahyroxybenzoate (E218), glycerol (E422), dextrose

Important ingredient information

Contain 11.5 vol% ethanol (alcohol) i.e. up to 453mg per dose, equivalent to 12ml beer, or 5ml wine per 5ml dose. Harmful for those suffering from alcoholism. To be taken in to account in pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and high risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy.

It contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed)
