Povidone

Povidone is a water-soluble, fine white powder. It is usually odourless and as a synthetic polymer properties can be changed to meet different requirements.

Povidone is also referred to as polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and is most commonly used in pharmaceuticals as a binder or disintegrant. It is also utilised in the beauty industry to manufacture anti-aging creams, hair care products and cosmetics.
